Sally automatically transcribes meetings and workshops and structures the content with precision. Employees speak - Sally documents.

At SCHWING Technologies, valuable knowledge had previously been spread across people’s minds. Workshops, meetings, and expert discussions generated important insights, but these were rarely documented in a structured way. Meeting minutes had to be created manually, which took a lot of time and reduced motivation: by the time someone sat down to structure and write everything out, the moment had often already passed. As a result, much of this knowledge remained undocumented - even though it was crucial for the company’s new knowledge management initiative.
Conversations were meant to regain their natural flow - without the constant pressure to take notes or write minutes alongside the discussion. Employees should be able to focus 100% on the exchange itself, without losing additional time on follow-up work afterward. At the same time, the knowledge created during these conversations needed to be captured reliably and in a structured way, so it would remain accessible to everyone in the long term.
Today, SCHWING uses Sally to record and automatically transcribe conversations, workshops, and meetings. Instead of laboriously typing notes, employees can simply speak and share their expertise—Sally structures and prepares the content with high precision. What stood out in particular was the high transcription accuracy, even when it comes to technical terminology, as well as the option to store data securely within the EU. Sally is being gradually integrated into the new knowledge management system and is set to be rolled out across teams in the future.
At SCHWING, Sally not only reduces the time required to document knowledge, but more importantly lowers the psychological barrier to doing so. Thoughts that previously stayed in people’s heads are now automatically transcribed and structured. This creates a solid foundation for sustainable knowledge management - clear, secure, and accessible at any time. Conversations that once went undocumented now flow directly into the company’s knowledge pool. What used to be an administrative burden has become an intuitive process: speaking instead of typing.
