Can I use Sally without calendar integration?

Yes. You can use Sally without connecting your calendar. Meetings can be started via a meeting link or by inviting Sally as an additional participant using invite@sally.io. Calendar integration is optional and provided purely for convenience.

How are HR data stored, processed, and protected?

HR data is processed in full compliance with GDPR and according to high security standards. The platform is developed and hosted entirely in Germany. Conversation data is not used for AI training. Can I review summaries before sharing or further processing them?

Yes. All summaries can be reviewed, edited, or extended before being shared. Control always remains with the HR team.

Which video conferencing tools is Sally compatible with?

Does the candidate need to consent to the use of Sally?

At the beginning of each meeting, Sally automatically informs participants about the recording and relevant data protection notices. We nevertheless recommend communicating the use of Sally transparently with candidates to ensure full clarity for all parties involved.

Who has access to HR summaries and transcripts?

Access is clearly defined. Only authorized individuals can view HR summaries and transcripts. Permissions can be managed on a role-based basis to ensure sensitive information remains protected.

How long are recordings stored?

Retention periods are fully configurable and can be aligned with your internal policies. Available options include:
- 2 weeks
- 3 months
- 6 months
- 1 year
- 2 years
- or unlimited (“never delete”)
Content can also be deleted manually at any time.

How much training effort is required for the HR team?
