In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.
Data Transmission Security
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Cookies
In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser. Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer.
Our legitimate interest in using cookies pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR lies in making our service more user-friendly, effective and secure.
Session Cookies
We use so-called session cookies to optimize our website. A session cookie is a small text file sent by the respective servers when visiting a website and temporarily stored on your hard drive. This file contains a so-called session ID, which allows different requests from your browser to be assigned to the shared session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. These cookies are deleted after you close your browser. They serve, for example, to allow you to use a shopping cart function across multiple pages.
Persistent Cookies
We also use persistent cookies to a limited extent (also small text files stored on your device) that remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. These cookies are stored on your hard drive and automatically delete themselves after the specified time. Their lifespan is between 1 month and 10 years. This way, we can present our service in a more user-friendly, effective and secure manner and, for example, display information tailored to your interests on the page.
The following data and information is stored in cookies:
- Login information
- Language settings
- Entered search terms
- Information about the number of visits to our website and use of individual functions of our website
sally_src_ref (sign-up source attribution)
sally_src_ref — set when you reach our site through an advertising link, affiliate link or specific marketing campaign (URL parameter ?src=…). The cookie stores the source identifier (e.g. gads-pmax-allg) for up to 12 months so that, on a later registration, we can attribute the original source. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and contract performance, in particular billing with advertising and affiliate partners). No further user profiling takes place; only the source identifier is stored — no browsing history.
Cookie Settings
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We delete the data arising in this context after storage is no longer necessary, or restrict processing if statutory retention obligations exist.
Google Analytics
We use "Google Analytics" on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google uses cookies, i.e. small text files stored on your device that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
If IP anonymization has been activated on the website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. Pseudonymous usage profiles may be created from the processed data. The IP address transmitted when using Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
IP Anonymization
We only use Google Analytics with the IP anonymization described above activated. This means your IP address is only processed in shortened form by Google. Personal identification can thus be excluded.
Purpose and Legal Basis
We use Google Analytics for the purpose of analyzing the use of our website and continuously improving individual functions and offers as well as the user experience. Through statistical evaluation of user behavior, we can improve our service and make it more interesting for you as a user. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in processing the aforementioned data by Google. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.
Right to Object
You can prevent the storage of cookies generated by Google Analytics by making the appropriate settings in your web browser. Please note that in this case you may not be able to use all features of our website. If you want to prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your user behavior (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google, you can download and install the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Data Processing Agreement
In order to oblige Google to process the transmitted data only in accordance with our instructions and to comply with applicable data protection regulations, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.
