Mannheim, 17 August 2026. Sally, the AI meeting assistant from Aliru GmbH, is releasing Sally 2.0, its biggest update since launch. Sally automatically transcribes meetings, summarizes them and derives the resulting tasks. Sally 2.0 turns this into a continuous knowledge platform for the entire working day.
Sally Chat
Just ask a question about your meetings and get the answer right away. No more digging through old summaries. Sally answers questions about a single meeting as easily as across many meetings at once.
Customizable meeting templates
Shape your summaries completely to fit your needs. You decide how a report is built, so a sales call gets a different template than a daily standup.
Bot-free recording, now as a desktop app for Windows and Mac
You can now record meetings without a bot at all. The Meeting Recorder for Windows and Mac notices by itself when a meeting starts.
Tags and automations
Tag your meetings and recordings and let Sally trigger the matching actions automatically.
Pair several phones
You can now pair several phones to one recording, right from the Sally app. More audio tracks make the transcription more accurate.
API and external MCP servers
Use the API to pull your meeting data into your own systems. You can also connect external MCP servers to Sally, so Sally can reach them directly in the chat.
Hosting 100 percent in Germany
All data sits on servers in Germany. On request, you decide what Sally stores and for how long. Sally works in compliance with the GDPR, transmits data encrypted and never uses meeting data to train AI models.
A word from the team
For Julian Kissel, founder and CEO of Sally, the update is a milestone:
"Sally 2.0 is the point where a meeting assistant becomes a true knowledge companion. Everything decided in conversations is instantly findable and usable afterwards, secure and hosted entirely in Germany. We are excited about the next big thing we will create."
What comes next
Sally keeps growing, with even deeper integrations across more than 8,000 tools and continuously improving transcription accuracy.
